Girls At The Wheel is a sports based radio show, discussing the hosts main interests and encouraging more women to engage in the sporting world. The hosts, Connie and Eve are both into their sports, having similar interests but also each having their own specific niches. Connie is an avid Formula One fan, her favourite driver being Lewis Hamilton. She loves the excitment of the sport and never misses a race as it travels around the globe. Eve knows all things womens football and is looking to use this platform to inform people and build engagement with the often overlooked female game. However, the girls will discuss more than these two sports, covering the major sporting news and events of the week. Each week the show will consist of an section called “Athlete of the week”, where each host will chose a member of any sporting community and give a detailed insight to their career, explaining why they have be chosen for athlete of the week.
