I’m Ruaridh, or ‘Rug’ to most of my pals… for some reason. I’m hoping to introduce any listeners to bands and artists who may well have been around for years, or are just starting up! Being a (limited) musician myself, I know a fair few people from Glasgow and Edinburgh in bands that I’m very excited about people hearing! With that being said, there is a chance that there will be some shameless self-promo along the way… I’m in two Glasgow based bands, both of which have been around for a few years now. I wanted to start this show because I feel like up until just last year, I could be quite judgemental and cynical when it came to music. Recently however, I decided it’s best to have a more open mind, or I’ll never truly be able to appreciate music to the extent that everyone should. So I want to introduce people to every type of band, artist and genre I’ve come to enjoy over the years, with the idea that the listener may feel the same way!
