my name is mon and i really am just a spanish film student trying (and sometimes failing) to figure out life in edinburgh. as the host of fly around and find out, i hope to spend some time laughing at culture shocks, reminiscing about home, and making questionable playlist choices. tune in for chaotic stories, top-tier music, and the occasional identity crisis... because moving abroad is weird, but at least it makes for a good radio show

My special interests include watching an unhealthy amount of Netflix and YouTube, gaming and reading dystopian/sci-fi/horror books (and fanfiction 😉) As a sucker for lore, I love delving into the nitty gritty of different franchises and discussing the ‘What If’s’ and ‘Oo imagine if this happened!’ in popular fandoms.

Hi, I'm Nina, a current journalism student, all the way from Leicester. I love all things music and film, hoping one day to be a cultural journalist. Anything from RnB to Musical Theatre, I am not fussy. I also take a strong interest in politics, current affairs and lifestyle journalism. Currently, I am 1/3 of the She Said and The Inside Job podcasts. On She Said we discuss films and tv that have impacted our lives. the Inside Job is a lifestyle podcast where we share advice and discuss mental health.
