Hello, my name is Ben and I run the A Mix Tape Called Ben show, where I take films, books and tv shows that are special to me and create a mixtape that encourages the listener to think about the subject in a new way and encourages me to listen to more music. The first thing I ever wanted to do as a kid was be a film critic, and that desire has only grown gradually as I’ve learned about film journalism. Films are first conceptualised on a screen but they are reanimated through discussion, appreciation and revisits.
